Rachel is the Top Dog and proud founder of Windsor Walkies, a business she started 16 years ago when more than a few people thought she was a little crazy for building a career around walking dogs. As it turns out, it was one of the best decisions she has ever made.
Over the years, Rachel has grown Windsor Walkies into a highly respected local business and, more importantly to her, a genuine community. Some clients have been with Windsor Walkies almost since the very beginning, with dogs and families growing up alongside the business. Her long-standing team, loyal clients and the incredible dogs they care for have become an extended family.
Safety, trust and exceptional care have always been at the heart of Windsor Walkies. Rachel has built a team that knows its dogs individually, understands their personalities and quirks, and treats every dog as if they were their own. She is incredibly proud of the relationships the team has built with clients over many years and the trust families place in Windsor Walkies every day.
When Rachel isn’t out walking dogs, she’s behind the scenes running the business, supporting her team and making sure Windsor Walkies continues to deliver the personal, reliable and safety-focused service it has become known for.
These days, one of Rachel’s greatest joys is welcoming Windsor Walkies dogs to stay with her on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula. With plenty of space, fresh air and room for adventures, her property has become a home away from home for many of her beloved regulars.
Sixteen years on, Rachel still genuinely loves what she does. She calls her team and clients her Windsor Walkies family because, after all these years, that’s exactly what it feels like. 🐾

Owen has been a much-loved Pack Leader at Windsor Walkies since 2020, bringing warmth, experience and a natural affinity with animals to every walk.
A former equestrian rider and trainer, Owen has developed a wonderful understanding of animal behaviour, training and handling. He is always happy, kind and approachable, helping every dog feel comfortable, confident and included in the pack.
Owen lives locally with his own pup, Matteo, and enjoys keeping fit while spending time outdoors. He is a familiar face around Toorak, South Yarra and the surrounding neighbourhoods, and knows our dogs and their individual personalities incredibly well. Owen is passionate about making every walk safe, enriching and, most importantly, great fun.

Emily joined the Windsor Walkies family in 2026 and has already become a much-loved member of our team.
A country girl at heart and a lifelong animal lover, Emily has always enjoyed being outdoors and surrounded by animals. She has two much-loved cats of her own and lives locally, so you may even spot her out and about in the neighbourhood!
Emily was trained by our wonderful long-term team member Brett and quickly got the hang of the Windsor Walkies way. She brings lots of energy, warmth and enthusiasm to every walk, and loves getting to know each dog’s unique personality.
Emily enjoys keeping fit, which is very handy when you’re spending your days running around with an energetic pack! She loves making sure every dog gets plenty of exercise, enrichment and fun while they’re out with us.
We’re so happy to have Emily as part of the Windsor Walkies family and the dogs are pretty pleased about it too!

Kat joined the Windsor Walkies team in 2024, bringing with her a fantastic combination of academic knowledge and hands-on animal experience. With a degree in Bioscience and an extensive background in puppy training, Kat previously worked as a puppy school instructor at Petstock, running training classes and helping young pups and their owners get off to the best possible start.
Alongside her role at Windsor Walkies, Kat also works at The Lost Dogs’ Home, caring for dogs while they wait for their next chapter. It’s a wonderful role and one that reflects Kat’s genuine passion for animal welfare and the care she brings to every dog she meets.
Living locally, Kat has built wonderful relationships with her regular Windsor Walkies dogs and knows their individual personalities, quirks and favourite things. Her love of animals doesn’t stop at dogs either. She’s a big cat lover too!
When she’s not running around with the Windsor Walkies pooches, Kat can often be found coaching a girls’ soccer team. She also provides in-home sitting for some of her special regular clients, allowing their dogs to stay happily in their own homes with someone they already know and trust.
Whether she’s walking, training, sitting, coaching or caring for dogs at The Lost Dogs’ Home, Kat brings a wealth of experience, energy and genuine love of animals to the Windsor Walkies family.

Liz joined Windsor Walkies in 2019 and has become an integral part of both the team and the day-to-day running of the business. A lifelong animal lover, Liz is a proud dog mum to Duffy, her gorgeous Kerry Blue Terrier, and an accomplished equestrian with many years of experience around horses.
Alongside walking and caring for our dogs, Liz is the scheduling whiz behind Windsor Walkies. Coordinating dogs, walkers, locations, timing and routes across a busy day is no small feat, but Liz has an uncanny ability to make all the moving pieces fit together.
Her background in corporate marketing and communications, combined with her extensive equestrian experience, means she brings organisation, practical thinking and plenty of calm problem-solving to the role. From creating smarter routes and keeping everyone's days running smoothly to dealing with last-minute changes, unexpected hiccups and the occasional flat tyre, if there's a problem to solve, Liz is usually the person you want on the other end of the phone!
Based locally in South Melbourne, Liz knows the area and its best walking spots inside out. And when she's not scheduling, walking dogs, riding horses or keeping the Windsor Walkies wheels turning, you'll often find her indulging another of her passions: dog grooming.
Warm, capable and always ready to jump in wherever she's needed, Liz is a much-loved member of the Windsor Walkies family and a huge part of what keeps our days, dogs and team running smoothly.
