How many dogs do you walk at once?
We aim to walk a maximum of five dogs at a time in a pack walk to ensure each one gets the attention and care they need. If your dog prefers solo walks, we also offer that option.

How do I know my dog is in good hands?  

All Windsor Walkies employees are experienced and have had extensive training with all sizes and breeds of dogs. We pride ourselves on employing only professional, caring and responsible staff who will go above and beyond to show your pooch a great day out.  

Can you walk my dog off-lead?
Yes, if your dog has reliable recall and you’re comfortable with off-lead walks, we love nothing more than seeing our pups running around with each other. Safety is always our top priority, so we’ll always assess the environment and your dog’s behavior before going off-lead.

What time of day do you offer walks?
We offer flexible walking hours, including mornings and afternoons dependent on your location. You can let us know what suits your schedule best, and we’ll try our best to accommodate and work around it.

Do you offer puppy walks?
Yes! We love working with puppies and can provide shorter, more frequent walks to suit their energy levels and help with their socialisation and training.

How do I prepare for my first walk?
On your first walk, please ensure your dog has a secure collar or harness and any other accessories they may need. We’ll go over any special instructions or preferences during our meet-and-greet so everything will run smoothly for you and your pooch.  

What if I have more than one dog?
We’re happy to walk multiple dogs from the same household. We offer discounted rates for additional dogs so that everyone gets a chance to enjoy some fresh air and exercise. You can find more on our pricing HERE 

Can you accommodate last-minute bookings?
We do our best to accommodate last-minute requests, but we recommend booking in advance to guarantee availability, especially for peak times.

Do you offer puppy sitting or overnight care?  

While our primary service is dog walking, we do offer pet sitting and overnight care upon request for our loyal clients. Let us know what you need, and we can discuss the details!   

Can you take my dog to the groomer?  
Absolutely! We are always happy to help with puppy ‘extra curricular’ activities like vet visits and grooming appointments. We can arrange to take your pup to your preferred groomer for a clean-up, so they come back home fresh and ready for cuddles! Just let us know your preferences, and we’ll handle the rest. 

What happens if there is an emergency with my dog?
In the unfortunate event of any emergency, we are well trained and have processes in place to ensure the best immediate care for your pooch. We obtain your vet’s details on our initial visit or, if you don’t have a preferred vet, we recommend Port Phillip Animal Hospital. We also request details of a local friend or relative to contact. We will always act in your pet’s best interest in the unexpected case of an emergency. 

What measures are taken for the safety of my dog?
We use well-maintained, safe equipment including our Windsor Walkies modern vans which are especially fitted out to transport your pups in comfort and safety. All our walkers are trained in animal first aid and we stick to safe walking routes and parks to ensure we can always keep an eye on your dog’s well-being. 

Is Windsor Walkies insured?
Yes, we have full public liability insurance (QBE Insurance Policy No. 4LZ017758BPK 

Do all employees have a current police check? 

Absolutely we do! All of our employees who are responsible for both your dogs and homes have undergone a full and updated police check.
